The JERGENS 43301 is a blind tapped T-slot nut designed for securing workpieces and fixtures in standard T-slot tables, jigs, and machine tool beds. It accepts a 3/8-16 UNC right-hand thread and features a black oxide finish over steel construction for corrosion resistance in shop environments. The base measures 7/8 inches wide by 1/4 inches tall, with an overall length of 7/8 inches and an overall height of 1/2 inch. The blind tap design keeps chips and debris from falling through the nut body. Manufactured to TCMA standards, this nut suits machinists, tool and die makers, and fixture builders working in inch-measurement setups.
This T-slot nut is sized for T-slots with a 0.5625-inch (9/16 inch) slot width, which is a common dimension on milling machine tables, drill press tables, and modular fixturing plates. It is used in production machining, toolroom work, and custom fixture fabrication where a clean, flush-top nut seating is required. The blind tap prevents bolt ends from protruding below the nut, keeping the slot channel clear and protecting the table surface. Sold individually, it is suited for single-position fixturing or as a replacement component in existing setups.
Designed for use in T-slot tables and fixturing systems with a 9/16-inch slot width. Accepts standard 3/8-16 UNC inch-series bolts and studs. Verify slot width and thread requirements against your specific machine table or fixture plate before installation.
Installation is typically performed by machinists or fixture technicians. Slide the nut into the T-slot from the end of the channel or through an access opening, then rotate 90 degrees to seat the base flanges in the slot undercut. Ensure the machine table or fixture plate is clear of stored energy before working in or near the slot. Do not exceed the load ratings of the T-slot table or the fastener assembly for the application.
