The JERGENS 23518 is a safety engineered center pull hoist ring designed for secure, balanced lifting in industrial rigging and material handling applications. Rated at a 5,000 lb working load limit, it features a 3/4-10 threaded shank for positive attachment to load-bearing fixtures. Constructed from alloy steel, the ring is built to handle demanding overhead lift conditions. The center pull design allows the load to be applied along the central axis of the fastener, reducing side loading and maintaining a stable lift path. This hardware is installed by millwrights, riggers, and maintenance mechanics working with overhead hoists, cranes, and lifting fixtures.
The JERGENS 23518 is suited for use on machine tools, jigs, fixtures, molds, and fabricated assemblies that require a reliable, repositionable lift point. Its center pull geometry keeps the lifting force aligned with the bolt axis, making it appropriate for precision lifting where load control is critical. The 3/4-10 thread size fits standard tapped holes found on a wide range of industrial equipment. This hoist ring is appropriate for both shop floor and field maintenance environments where controlled overhead lifts are performed.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit hoist ring for industrial fixtures, molds, and machine assemblies using a standard 3/4-10 tapped hole lift point.
Installation should be performed by qualified riggers or maintenance mechanics familiar with ASME B30.26 below-the-hook lifting device standards. Before installing or removing the hoist ring, ensure all energy sources to the associated equipment are isolated and locked out per facility LOTO procedures. Thread the hoist ring fully into the tapped hole and verify it is fully seated and secure before applying any load. Never exceed the rated working load limit and inspect the ring for visible wear, deformation, or cracking before each use.
