Jbl Professional AWC159-BK 15 Inch All Weather Speaker

Product Description

The JBL PROFESSIONAL AWC159-BK is a 15-inch all-weather compact coaxial speaker designed for permanent outdoor and demanding indoor installations. Built to withstand exposure to moisture, temperature swings, and environmental contaminants, this unit delivers full-range audio reproduction from a single coaxial driver assembly. The coaxial design aligns the high-frequency and low-frequency transducers on the same axis, which produces consistent coverage and coherent sound across listening positions. Installation is handled by audio-visual contractors and system integrators working in commercial, hospitality, and venue environments.

The AWC159-BK is suited for applications where weather resistance and reliable long-term performance are required. Typical install scenarios include outdoor amphitheaters, covered patios, pool decks, theme parks, stadiums, and building perimeters. The compact enclosure allows for placement in locations where a full-size loudspeaker cabinet would not fit. The all-weather rating makes it appropriate for year-round outdoor use in variable climate conditions.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified audio-visual contractor or low-voltage systems integrator. Power down the amplifier or signal processor before making any wiring connections. Verify that all mounting hardware is rated for outdoor use and that enclosure penetrations are sealed to maintain the weather-resistance rating. Follow applicable local building and electrical codes for low-voltage audio wiring.
