The JB INDUSTRIES JBIND-DV-41 is a digital micron gauge designed to measure vacuum levels during HVAC system evacuation. It covers a measuring range of 10 to 200,000 microns, giving technicians precise readings across the full spectrum from deep vacuum to atmospheric bleed-down. The gauge connects via a 1/4-inch female SAE fitting and displays readings on an LCD screen. It accepts power from an included AC adapter or standard batteries, making it practical for both shop bench use and field service. Licensed HVAC technicians performing refrigerant system evacuation are the primary users of this instrument.
This gauge is suited for residential and commercial HVAC work where proper evacuation verification is required before refrigerant charging. It is commonly used alongside a vacuum pump during system commissioning, leak repair, and refrigerant changeouts. The wide measurement range accommodates initial rough vacuum readings as well as the deep vacuum levels required before refrigerant introduction. The unit ships with an AC adapter and a carrying case for field transport and storage.
Designed as an OEM-style digital micron gauge for use in HVAC refrigerant system evacuation applications requiring a 1/4-inch female SAE vacuum port connection.
Installation and use should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician familiar with EPA Section 608 refrigerant handling requirements. Power down the system and isolate the refrigerant circuit before connecting the gauge to the vacuum port. Ensure the 1/4-inch female SAE fitting is hand-tight and leak-free before beginning evacuation monitoring. Do not expose the gauge to pressures outside its rated range or to refrigerant liquid slugging.
