The JASON INDUSTRIAL B86 is a rubber V-belt designed for industrial power transmission applications. Cut to a 5/8-inch top width and 89-inch outside circumference, this B-section belt transfers rotational power between sheaves in a wide range of mechanical drive systems. It is constructed from black rubber compounded for resistance to heat, oil, and everyday wear. Maintenance technicians and industrial mechanics install this belt as a direct replacement or new-installation component in fan drives, compressor drives, pump drives, and general machinery setups where a standard B-section profile is required.
The B86 fits industrial and commercial equipment that calls for a B-section V-belt. Typical applications include HVAC fan assemblies, air compressors, agricultural equipment, industrial blowers, and light conveyor systems. The standardized B-section profile ensures compatibility with B-groove sheaves and pulleys across a broad range of OEM and aftermarket drive configurations. This belt is sold individually and is well suited for planned maintenance programs or emergency replacement inventory.
Designed as a standard B-section replacement V-belt for industrial and commercial drive systems equipped with B-groove sheaves and pulleys requiring an 89-inch outside circumference belt.
Installation should be performed by a qualified mechanic or maintenance technician. De-energize and lock out the equipment following LOTO procedures before removing the worn belt or installing the new one. Never pry or force a V-belt over a sheave under full tension — always relieve tension using the drive's adjustment mechanism before seating the belt, then re-tension to the equipment manufacturer's specification. Inspect sheave grooves for wear or damage before installing a new belt.
