The JACKSON SAFETY 14786 is a dual-angle flange level built for trade professionals who need precise angle measurement in demanding work environments. Constructed from cast aluminum, the tool is both lightweight and durable. It features a 360-degree adjustable dial bubble protractor with two 90-degree quadrants, allowing accurate angle determination across a full range of positions. Two built-in 25-pull magnets hold the level securely to steel surfaces, keeping both hands free during layout and fit-up work. The body measures 9 inches x 2 inches x 0.75 inches. One unit is sold per order.
This flange level is designed for pipe fitters, welders, jig builders, and other trade workers who regularly need to set or verify angles on steel assemblies and structural components. Its magnetic base makes it well suited for positioning on pipe flanges, steel beams, weld fixtures, and similar ferrous surfaces in both shop and field settings. The dual-angle readout reduces the need to reposition the tool during layout work.
Designed for use on steel and ferrous metal surfaces; suitable for pipe fitting, welding, jig building, and similar angle-measurement applications in industrial and fabrication settings.
This tool requires no installation. Before use on energized or pressurized systems, ensure all relevant lockout/tagout and pressure-isolation procedures are followed per applicable site safety requirements. Clean contact surfaces of oil, scale, or weld spatter before placing the magnetic base to ensure full magnetic engagement and accurate readings. Verify bubble protractor calibration periodically if the tool is subject to impact or dropping.
