The JACKSON SAFETY 14734 is a single dome-nose cable connector designed for welding and high-current electrical applications. It uses a camlock and locking bar mechanism to create a secure, high-conductivity connection. The large dome-nose screw ensures solid contact at the connection point. An insulated, form-fitted rubber jacket covers the connector body to protect against dirt, oil, and moisture during demanding jobsite use. Licensed electricians and welding professionals install these connectors where reliable, quick-change cable connections are required.
This connector is suited for welding cable runs and high-amperage power distribution setups in both shop and field environments. The rubber-jacketed housing holds up in industrial conditions where exposure to contaminants is common. The camlock design allows fast connection and disconnection without sacrificing joint integrity. The 14734 is sold individually and supports cable sizes 3/0 and 4/0, covering the heavy-gauge wire commonly used in welding power circuits.
Designed for use with 3/0 and 4/0 welding cables. Compatible with Jackson Safety Quick-Trick QNB-2-BP cable connector systems where male and female camlock-style adapters are used.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or certified welding professional. De-energize and lock out all power sources before handling cable connectors. Ensure cable gauge matches the connector rating before crimping or terminating. Follow applicable NEC guidelines for high-current cable connections and terminations.
