The ISCAR 7005377 is a countersunk cap screw designed to secure indexable inserts within compatible toolholders on CNC turning, grooving, and threading setups. It features an M3.5 x 0.6 thread and an overall length of 0.433 inches (11.00 mm). The T9 Torx drive allows precise torque application during insert changes, reducing the risk of fastener damage or cam-out. This screw is part of ISCAR's ChamGroove series and is installed by machinists and tooling technicians during routine insert indexing or replacement procedures in production environments.
This cap screw is intended for use with MGCH-style toolholders in grooving, threading, and turning applications. It is compatible with a defined set of GIQL-series indexable inserts and is suited for both production shops and job shops that run ISCAR ChamGroove tooling systems. The countersunk head profile seats flush against the insert face to maintain accurate insert positioning and clamping force during cutting operations.
Compatible with MGCH-style toolholders and the following GIQL-series inserts: GIQL 11-0.75-0.00, GIQL 11-0.85-0.00, GIQL 11-0.95-0.00, GIQL 11-1.20-R060, GIQL 11-1.80-R090, GIQL 11-15-1.50-0.05, GIQL 11-15-2.00-0.10, GIQL 11-15-2.50-0.20, GIQL 11-2.00-R100, GIQL 8-0.50-0.00, GIQL 8-0.75-0.00, GIQL 8-0.85-0.00, GIQL 8-1.20-R060, and GIQ series. Part of the ISCAR ChamGroove series.
Insert replacement and screw installation should be performed with the machine fully stopped and in a locked-out, de-energized state per applicable lockout/tagout procedures. Use the correct T-9/5 Torx key or driver to seat the screw - do not substitute a driver of a different size, as this can strip the drive recess or under-torque the clamp. Inspect the screw threads and toolholder bore for chips or contamination before installation. Replace the screw if any thread damage, galling, or deformation is observed.
