The ISCAR 7002030 is a countersunk cap screw engineered for securing indexable inserts in boring head toolholders. With an M2.5 x 0.45 thread and a T8 Torx drive, this screw is designed for the Itsbore series boring head system. The countersunk head profile seats flush against the insert pocket, maintaining precise insert positioning during machining operations. At 6.00 mm (0.2362 inches) in overall length, this compact fastener is sized specifically for the close tolerances found in indexable boring head assemblies. Installation requires the BH HW 2.0 HANDLE key driver. Machinists, tool crib personnel, and CNC setup technicians working with ISCAR Itsbore tooling will keep these screws on hand as routine replacement hardware.
This cap screw is used in metalworking and machining environments where indexable boring heads are deployed on CNC lathes, boring mills, or machining centers. It is a direct replacement fastener for the BHF MB toolholder series, compatible with indexable insert seating in that system. Applications span both production machining and job shop environments where boring head insert changes are frequent and hardware wear or loss is a normal maintenance consideration. Sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 5 units.
Designed for use with the ISCAR BHF MB toolholder in the Itsbore series. Compatible with indexable insert hardware and the BH HW 2.0 HANDLE key driver as specified by the manufacturer.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician with the machine powered down and the spindle locked. Use the BH HW 2.0 HANDLE key driver to seat the screw properly — do not substitute an ill-fitting driver, as Torx fasteners at this scale can strip under incorrect tooling. Inspect the screw threads and pocket threads for wear or contamination before reinstalling an indexable insert. Follow the toolholder manufacturer guidelines for insert clamping procedure.
