The ISCAR 7000211 is a countersunk cap screw designed to secure indexable inserts in turning toolholders. It features a T20 Torx drive with an M6x1 thread and measures 0.67 inches in overall length. The screw is part of the ISCAR Isoturn series and is engineered to the dimensional and torque tolerances required for repeatable insert clamping in production turning applications. Licensed machinists and toolroom technicians rely on this type of fastener to maintain insert seating accuracy and prevent movement during heavy cuts. Sold individually, with a minimum order quantity of 5 units.
This cap screw is intended for use in SRGC-style turning toolholders within the Isoturn series. It applies to insert-based turning setups in both production and job-shop environments where round indexable inserts are used for general turning operations. The T20 Torx head allows consistent tightening torque without cam-out, which is critical in high-vibration cutting conditions. Compatible inserts and toolholder configurations are listed below.
Compatible with SRGC-style turning toolholders in the ISCAR Isoturn series. Confirmed compatible inserts include: RCGT 0803M0-AS, RCGT 1003M0-AS, RCGT 10T3M0-AS, RCMT 0803M0-14, RCMT 0803M0-SR, RCMT 10T3M0-14, RCMT 1204M0-14, RCMT 1204M0-14S, RCMT 1606M0-14, and RCMT 1606M0-SR. Recommended key/driver: BLD T20/S7.
Insert screw replacement is a standard toolroom task performed by machinists and CNC operators. Before replacing the screw, ensure the machine is powered down, the spindle is locked, and the toolholder is removed from the turret or tool post. Use the specified BLD T20/S7 Torx key to avoid rounding the drive recess. Do not substitute screws of differing thread pitch or head geometry, as incorrect fasteners can cause insert movement or pocket damage under cutting loads.
