The ISCAR 6405091 is a solid carbide grooving insert in the Cut-Grip series, designed for precision grooving and parting operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Carrying the GIP315015P designation with IC830 grade carbide and a PVD-applied AlTiN and TiN coating, this double-ended insert delivers a 3.15 mm cutting width and a maximum depth of cut of 13 mm. The IC830 grade is formulated for high-performance cutting in demanding materials. The positive rake geometry and P chip breaker promote controlled chip evacuation.
