The ISCAR 6011409 is a solid carbide cutoff and parting insert designed for use in Tang-Grip toolholding systems. It carries the IC808 manufacturer grade, a PVD-coated submicron carbide grade engineered for consistent performance across a wide range of workpiece materials. The insert features a 4.05 mm (0.1594 inch) cutting width, a 4-degree left-hand lead angle, a 7-degree relief angle, and a 0.24 mm corner radius. The C-style chipbreaker promotes controlled chip formation during parting and grooving operations. Licensed machinists and CNC operators install this insert in compatible Tang-Grip parting blade assemblies on lathes and turning centers.

This insert is suited for parting and cutoff operations on a broad range of metallic workpieces, including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous alloys, and high-temperature alloys, as indicated by the primary workpiece material codes H, K, M, P, and S. Installation Notes
