The ISCAR 6004501 is a solid carbide cutoff and parting insert designed for precision grooving and parting operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. It carries the manufacturer grade IC830 with a PVD coating, making it well suited for cutting superalloys and other demanding workpiece materials. The cutting width measures 3.1 mm (0.122 inches), with a maximum depth of cut of 18 mm (0.709 inches). The double-ended design extends usable tool life by providing two cutting edges per insert. A 6-degree right-hand lead angle and a 7-degree relief angle support chip clearance and reduce cutting forces during deep parting operations.

This insert belongs to the ISCAR Do-Grip series and is intended for use in compatible Do-Grip parting and grooving toolholders.
