The ISCAR 6003647 is a solid carbide cutoff and grooving insert from the PentaCut series, designed for precision parting and grooving operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. It features a 1.5 mm cutting width, a neutral lead angle, and a 0.15 mm corner radius. The IC908 grade substrate is PVD-coated for extended tool life across a broad range of workpiece materials. The multi-use design allows the insert to be indexed for repeated use, reducing tooling cost per part. This insert is suited for grooving and parting applications in both light-production and high-volume turning operations.
