It carries the GFR4JS-4D designation, meaning it uses the Self-Grip clamping system, a 4 mm cutting width, a JS chipbreaker geometry, and right-hand lead angle orientation. The insert is manufactured from IC328 carbide grade and finished with a PVD coating, making it well suited for cutting superalloys and other difficult-to-machine materials. Installation Notes

The Self-Grip blade holder requires correct insert seating by pressing the insert firmly into the clamping slot until it is fully seated against the locating shoulder — do not use the insert as a pry point.
