The ISCAR 6002741 is a solid carbide cutoff and parting insert in the Self-Grip series, designed for precision grooving and parting operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. It features a 1.6mm (0.0630 inch) cutting width, a 6-degree right-hand lead angle, and a 0.02mm (0.0008 inch) corner radius for tight-tolerance work. The IC328 grade substrate carries a PVD-applied TiCN coating, making it well suited for high-temperature cutting in superalloy and difficult-to-machine materials. It is held in place by a clamp-style toolholder compatible with the Self-Grip system.
