The ISCAR 6002641 is a single-end carbide cutoff insert designed for grooving and parting-off operations on CNC turning centers and manual lathes. Manufactured to the GTR-2.4-4D insert style with an IC354 PVD-coated carbide grade, this insert delivers a 2.4 mm (0.0945 inch) cutting width with a 4-degree right-hand lead angle and a 7-degree relief angle. The IC354 grade is a coated carbide rated for C5 and C6 material groups, making it suitable for steel and stainless steel cutoff work. It is held in place by a clamp-style Self-Grip toolholder system. Machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments install this insert as a consumable cutting tool.

This insert is used in cutoff and parting applications on turning equipment where precise groove width control is required.
