The ISCAR 6002455 is a solid carbide double-ended cutoff and parting insert designed for precision grooving and parting operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Manufactured to the DGR 2202J-6D designation within ISCARs Do-Grip series, this insert features a 2.2 mm cutting width, a 6-degree right-hand lead angle, and a 7-degree relief angle. The PVD-coated IC328 grade is engineered for cutting superalloys and other demanding workpiece materials. A 0.20 mm corner radius and J-style chipbreaker geometry help control chip flow and reduce cutting forces during deep parting cuts up to 18.0 mm.

This insert is suited for production turning environments where consistent performance on superalloys, stainless steels, and steel alloys is required. The Do-Grip clamping system secures the insert mechanically without a top clamp, keeping the cutting zone clear. Right-hand lead angle orientation makes it compatible with standard right-hand turning setups.
