The ISCAR 5902392 is a laydown threading insert designed for cutting internal Acme threads on a lathe or CNC turning center. It carries the IC908 grade, a PVD-coated solid carbide grade with a TiAlN finish engineered for tough, consistent thread profiles across a wide range of workpiece materials. The insert runs at 4 threads per inch (TPI) and fits toolholders accepting a 1/2-inch (0.500 inch) inscribed circle with a 0.188-inch thickness. Installation Notes
