The ISCAR 5668259 is a high feed replaceable milling tip from the Multimaster MM EFF series, designed for aggressive material removal at shallow axial depths. Built from ultra fine grain carbide with a TiAlN coating applied via PVD process, this tip carries the IC903 manufacturer grade and delivers consistent performance in interrupted and continuous cutting operations. The 10.00 mm cutting diameter pairs with a 0.45 mm maximum depth of cut to enable high feed rate strategies that reduce cycle time in production environments. With 6 flutes and a right-hand cutting orientation, this tip is installed by machinists and CNC operators on compatible Multimaster modular tool holders.
This milling tip is suited for a wide range of workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The 97-degree lead angle geometry and 1.0 mm corner radius support stable, high feed toolpaths in both roughing and semi-finishing applications. Coolant-through capability makes it appropriate for use in machining centers where internal coolant delivery is available, helping to manage chip evacuation and heat at the cutting zone. It is a direct fit for Multimaster MM EFF series modular shanks.
Designed for use with ISCAR Multimaster MM EFF series modular tool holders accepting the MM EFF100T2R1.0-6T06H tip geometry. Compatible workpiece material groups include P (steel), M (stainless steel), K (cast iron), N (non-ferrous metal), S (superalloys and titanium), and H (hard material).
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool holder is secured in the spindle or tool presetter before threading the milling tip into the Multimaster shank. Use the appropriate ISCAR torque key for the MM EFF interface — do not use impact tools or improvised wrenches. Verify runout after installation and before engaging the workpiece.
