The ISCAR 5667113 is a solid carbide milling insert from the HELIDO series, designed for high-performance metal cutting in demanding machining applications. Designated by ANSI code H606 RXCU 43-AXMP IC380, this round-profile insert features an IC380 submicron carbide grade with a PVD-applied TiCN and TiN coating for wear resistance and edge integrity. It offers six cutting edges on a double-sided, right-hand configuration with a negative rake geometry and sharp cutting edge style. Thickness measures 0.236 inches with an inscribed circle of 0.510 inches. This insert is held in place by a screw-type clamping method and is intended for use by machining professionals in CNC milling operations.
This insert is engineered for milling superalloys and titanium as its primary workpiece materials, with hard materials listed as an additional application. It is compatible with the H606 FR.50 cutter series and carries the AXMP chip breaker geometry, which supports controlled chip formation at the cutting edge. Typical use cases include aerospace component machining, die and mold work, and other applications involving difficult-to-cut materials where edge sharpness and coating durability are critical. The insert conforms to both ANSI and ISO 13399 standards.
Designed for use with the H606 FR.50 cutter series. Confirmed compatible toolholder series information is limited to what is stated here; verify fitment against your specific toolholder documentation before ordering.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or tooling technicians. Secure the insert using the designated screw-clamp method; ensure the seating pocket is clean and free of chips or debris before inserting. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before any insert change. Follow the toolholder manufacturer torque guidelines for the clamping screw, as over-tightening can cause insert fracture.
