The ISCAR 5622764 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for precision chamfering and edge-breaking operations on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. It features a 0.188 inch cutting diameter, a 0.375 inch length of cut, and a 0.006 inch chamfer width, making it well suited for tight-tolerance finishing passes where consistent edge geometry is critical. The TiAlN coating improves heat resistance and extends tool life in dry or semi-dry cutting conditions. With four flutes and a 38-degree helix angle, the tool maintains stable chip evacuation and smooth surface finish at aggressive feed rates. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary installers and users of this tool.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills performing corner chamfer operations on metal components. The single-end, right-hand cutting configuration suits standard spindle setups. The 3/16 inch shank diameter fits common collet and end mill holder systems. It is appropriate for production and job-shop environments requiring repeatable chamfer geometry on steel, stainless, cast iron, and similar materials. The 2 inch overall length provides adequate clearance for most standard workholding arrangements without excessive overhang.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit tooling option for standard 3/16 inch collet chucks and end mill holders used in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or CNC operators familiar with tool holding systems and speeds-and-feeds selection. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the tool from the holder. Verify collet condition and cleanliness before seating the shank to prevent runout. Follow machine manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety protocols when selecting cutting parameters.
