The ISCAR 5622477 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining environments. Built from ultra fine grain carbide and coated with TiAlN via a PVD process, it delivers both wear resistance and thermal stability during extended cuts. The 3/8-inch diameter tool carries a 0.059-inch corner radius and runs four right-hand flutes with a straight flute profile. At 3 inches overall length with a 1.2-inch reach length, this single-end mill is suited for deep-reach finishing and roughing operations in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials.

This end mill is part of the EFFI-S4/S6 Series and is configured for both roughing and finishing passes in a single tool. The straight-cylindrical shank and extra-long length type make it appropriate for setups where standard reach tools cannot access the cutting zone. It is intended for use with compatible toolholders and is well suited to CNC machining centers running ferrous and difficult-to-machine workpiece materials. No coolant-through capability is present, so external coolant strategies should be planned accordingly.

Installation Notes
