The ISCAR 5622027 is a carbide end replaceable milling tip designed for use in the Multimaster MM EC-4 modular tooling system. It features a 0.75 inch cutting width, four flutes, and a 30-degree helix angle that promotes efficient chip evacuation during milling operations. The tip carries the IC908 manufacturer grade with a TiAlN coating applied via PVD process, giving it hardness and thermal resistance suited to demanding cutting conditions. A 0.03 inch corner radius provides controlled edge geometry for corner radius milling applications. This tip is intended for installation by machinists and tooling technicians working with compatible Multimaster holders.
This milling tip is engineered for end milling applications across a broad range of workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The 90-degree lead angle and right-hand cut orientation make it well suited for shoulder milling and slotting operations. Maximum depth of cut reaches 0.62 inches, with a functional length of 1.0 inch. It is appropriate for use in both production machining environments and job shop applications where material versatility and quick tip replacement are priorities.
Designed for use with the ISCAR Multimaster MM EC-4 modular milling system. Insert size designation is .750A62R030. Confirm holder compatibility using the MM EC-4 series specifications before installation.
This replaceable tip is installed by a machinist or tooling technician using the appropriate Multimaster torque wrench or key specified for the holder series. Disengage the machine spindle and ensure the tool is fully secured in the holder before mounting to the machine. Inspect the seating interface on the holder for chips or debris before threading the tip into place. Do not exceed the recommended engagement torque specified in the ISCAR Multimaster holder documentation.
