The ISCAR 5622025 is a carbide end replaceable milling tip from the Multimaster MM EC-4 series, designed for use in modular milling tool systems. It features a 0.75-inch cutting width, a maximum depth of cut of 0.62 inches, and a functional length of 1.0 inch. The IC908 submicron carbide grade is applied with a PVD-deposited TiAlN coating, delivering thermal and wear resistance across a wide range of workpiece materials. The 45-degree helix angle and four-flute geometry promote efficient chip evacuation and stable cutting action. This tip is installed and replaced by machinists and toolroom technicians as part of a quick-change milling system.
This milling tip is suited for end milling operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The 90-degree lead angle makes it appropriate for shoulder milling and slotting applications. It is intended for use in production and job-shop environments where modular tooling changeovers reduce downtime. The right-hand cut orientation is standard for conventional vertical and horizontal machining center setups. No coolant-through capability is present, so external coolant or air blast is the recommended cooling method.
Designed for use with ISCAR Multimaster MM EC-4 series modular milling holders that accept the .750B62R000 insert size interface. Compatible workpiece material categories include P (steel), M (stainless steel), K (cast iron), N (non-ferrous metal), S (superalloys and titanium), and H (hard material) per ISO classification.
Tip replacement is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician following the machine tool manufacturer lockout and tagout procedure before any tooling change. Secure the Multimaster holder in a holder fixture or vise when threading the milling tip to avoid damage to the coupling threads. Verify torque is applied with the appropriate ISCAR Multimaster torque key — do not use standard hex wrenches. Inspect the coupling face and threads for chips or debris before seating the new tip.
