The ISCAR 5620519 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. With a 0.4606-inch (11.70 mm) mill diameter and a 0.4724-inch (12.00 mm) length of cut, this stub-length tool delivers rigidity and accuracy in tight setups. The three-flute geometry paired with a 38-degree spiral helix angle optimizes chip evacuation and cutting efficiency. A TiAlN finish provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in high-temperature cutting environments. The Weldon flat shank ensures positive drive retention in compatible holders. This end mill is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments.
This end mill is rated for use across multiple primary workpiece material categories, including hardened materials (H), cast iron and non-ferrous (K), stainless steel (M), steels (P), and superalloys and titanium (S). The stub length configuration makes it well suited for applications where minimal overhang and maximum stiffness are required, such as shallow-pocket milling, slotting, and shoulder milling. The right-hand cut with right-hand flute direction is standard for conventional CNC milling center use. Submicron grain carbide construction supports consistent edge retention across extended production runs.
Designed for use with Weldon flat shank tool holders accepting a 12.00 mm (0.4724-inch) shank diameter. Suitable for machining hardened steels, stainless steels, cast iron, non-ferrous alloys, and superalloys as indicated by primary workpiece material codes H, K, M, P, and S.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before installing or removing the end mill. Seat the Weldon flat against the set screw in the holder to prevent axial pullout during cutting. Verify shank diameter tolerance compatibility with the holder before use, and inspect the cutting edge for chips or damage prior to each setup.
