The ISCAR 5607252 is a Multimaster series replaceable milling tip designed for spotting and chamfering operations on CNC machining centers and milling platforms. This tip features a 10.00 mm (0.3940 inch) cutting diameter with a 90-degree included angle, producing precise 45-degree lead-angle chamfers and center spots in a single pass. Manufactured from sub-micrograin carbide in grade IC908 with a PVD-applied TiAlN coating, the tip delivers thermal resistance and edge stability across a wide range of workpiece materials. The right-hand cutting geometry and two-flute configuration balance chip evacuation with surface finish quality. Licensed machinists, CNC operators, and toolroom technicians are the primary installers.
The ISCAR 5607252 is suited for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials, covering ISO material groups P, M, K, N, S, and H. It is engineered for applications where a consistent spot depth and chamfer angle are required before drilling or threading operations. The 19.00 mm extension from holder and 0.7486-inch functional length make it a compact choice for tight-tolerance fixturing environments. It ships individually but carries a minimum order quantity of 2 units.
Designed as a replaceable milling tip for ISCAR Multimaster modular tooling holders accepting the MM ECD 10X90 insert size. Confirm holder compatibility with the MM ECD series before ordering.
Installation is performed by qualified CNC machinists or toolroom technicians. Power down the machine spindle and confirm zero energy state before tip exchange. Use the appropriate ISCAR Multimaster torque key or wrench as specified by the holder manufacturer — do not use impact tools or improvised drivers on the mating thread interface. Inspect the holder coupling threads and seating face for debris or wear prior to installing a new tip.
