The ISCAR 5606321 is a solid carbide milling insert with ANSI designation T490 LNHT 080408PNR IC808, designed for use in HELITANG series face and shoulder milling cutters. This double-sided, butterfly-shaped insert carries a negative rake geometry and a helical cutting edge style, which distributes cutting forces and reduces chatter during aggressive material removal. The IC808 grade features a multilayer PVD Sumotec coating combining TiAlN, AlTiN, and TiN layers over a submicron carbide substrate, giving it broad wear resistance across a wide range of workpiece materials.
