The ISCAR 5605512 is a replaceable carbide milling tip designed for thread milling operations in a wide range of workpiece materials. Part of the Multimaster/SolidThread system, this tip mounts to compatible modular holders and delivers precise UN-profile threads using a right-hand, 4-flute geometry. The cutting diameter measures 10.00 mm (0.394 inches), with a maximum depth of cut of 5.1 mm (0.201 inches) and a functional length of 0.502 inches. The substrate is sub-micrograin carbide with a TiAlN coating applied via PVD process, providing wear resistance across demanding cutting applications. It carries an IC908 manufacturer grade designation and conforms to ANSI standards.

This milling tip is suited for thread milling in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials, covering workpiece material codes P, M, K, N, S, and H. The 90-degree lead angle and 90-degree included angle geometry supports standard UN thread profiles.
