With a cutting diameter of 0.185 inches and a maximum depth of cut of 0.472 inches, the 5604101 suits moderate radial engagement applications where profile accuracy matters. The 2-flute geometry maintains chip clearance in materials that work-harden quickly. Installation requires a compatible Multimaster shank holder and is performed by machinists and toolroom technicians.
This tip is designed for right-hand cutting and carries a 90-degree lead angle with no chamfer, producing a clean corner radius of 0.156 inches. The MM HR style is applicable across a broad material range including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials.
