The ISCAR 5603806 is a chamfer replaceable milling tip in the Multimaster MM HCD series, designed for modular end mill tooling systems. Built from sub-micrograin carbide with a TiAlN coating applied via PVD process, this tip carries the IC908 manufacturer grade and delivers consistent performance across a wide range of workpiece materials. It runs two right-hand flutes, with a 0.059-inch cutting diameter and a maximum depth of cut of 0.209 inches. The chamfer geometry is configured at a 45-degree chamfer angle with a 90-degree lead angle and a 140-degree included angle. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling technicians use this tip for chamfering operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials.
This milling tip is suited for use in production machining environments where Multimaster-compatible tooling systems are already in place. The MM HCD120-090-2T08 designation identifies the tip geometry and mount interface. Typical applications include chamfering edges, deburring, and angled feature generation on turned or milled workpieces. The IC908 carbide grade with TiAlN PVD coating is well matched to interrupted cuts and demanding material families including superalloys and hardened steels. Coolant-through is not supported on this tip. This tip is sold individually, with a minimum order quantity of 2.
Designed for use with ISCAR Multimaster modular milling tool holders accepting the MM HCD series tip interface, insert size 120-090.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians using the appropriate Multimaster tool holder and assembly torque tool. Always ensure the machine spindle is powered down and locked out before changing milling tips. Inspect the holder pocket and seating surface for chips or damage before installing the replacement tip. Follow the tool holder manufacturer torque guidance for the specific Multimaster holder in use.
