The ISCAR 5603361 is a carbide end replaceable milling tip designed for high-performance slotting and drilling operations in demanding machining environments. Part of the Multimaster MM HC series, this tip features a TiAlN coating applied via PVD process, which provides excellent heat resistance and wear life at elevated cutting speeds. The IC908 sub-micrograin carbide grade delivers edge strength and toughness across a wide range of workpiece materials. With a cutting diameter of 12.70 mm, a maximum depth of cut of 0.4330 inches (11 mm), and a 2-flute configuration, this tip is suited for machinists and tooling specialists running tight-tolerance slotting operations on machining centers.
This milling tip is engineered for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials, covering ISO material groups P, M, K, N, S, and H. The right-hand cut geometry and 90-degree lead angle make it a practical choice for vertical and horizontal machining centers where the Multimaster quick-change tooling system is already in use. No chipbreaker is incorporated, and the design does not support coolant-through delivery, making it best suited for applications where flood or mist coolant is applied externally.
Designed for use with ISCAR Multimaster MM HC series holders that accept the .500C55R016 insert size. Compatible with the quick-change Multimaster tooling platform used on CNC machining centers.
Installation of end replaceable milling tips should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Power down and lock out the spindle before seating or removing any replaceable tip. Use the appropriate ISCAR torque key for the Multimaster interface and inspect the mating threads and seating surface for chips or damage before each installation. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended cutting parameters for the IC908 grade and TiAlN coating combination.
