The ISCAR 5601902 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying ANSI designation ADKT 1505PDTR-RM in manufacturer grade IC910. It is a parallelogram-shaped, single-sided insert with a positive rake geometry and T-Land cutting edge style, designed for use in shoulder and face milling operations. The insert features an AlTiN coating applied via PVD process, providing wear resistance during high-speed cutting of steel and cast iron. With a maximum depth of cut of 0.4720 inches (12.00 mm) and two cutting edges per insert, it delivers reliable performance in demanding production environments. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and metalworking trades do not apply here — this insert is installed and changed by machining professionals and CNC operators.
The ISCAR 5601902 is suited for milling steel and cast iron workpieces in both roughing and semi-finishing applications. It is compatible with the HELIMILL cutter series and fits cutter bodies in the ETS, FTS, ADK, and E90 series. The right-hand cutting configuration and screw-holding method make it a direct-fit insert for compatible toolholders requiring size code 1505 inserts. Typical applications include face milling, shoulder milling, and ramping operations on machining centers.
Compatible with HELIMILL series cutter bodies in the ETS, FTS, ADK, and E90 series that accept ADKT 1505-style inserts with a right-hand orientation and screw-holding method.
Insert changes should be performed by qualified machine operators or tooling technicians with the spindle fully stopped and the machine locked out per shop safety procedures. Use the appropriate Torx or hex key for the clamping screw as specified by the cutter body manufacturer. Inspect the insert pocket and seating surface for chips or damage before seating the new insert. Do not exceed the cutter body's rated maximum spindle speed or depth of cut for the specific application.
