Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Before replacing inserts, ensure the spindle is fully stopped, locked out, and the machine is de-energized per shop lockout/tagout procedures. Seat the insert firmly against the pocket locating surfaces and secure the clamp to the manufacturer-specified torque using a calibrated torque wrench — refer to the cutter body documentation for the correct torque value, as it is not specified here. Inspect the insert pocket for chips, debris, or wear before seating a new insert to ensure proper contact and runout.
