The ISCAR 5592941 is a solid carbide turning insert in the CCMT 2-0-PF geometry, part of the Isoturn series. It carries a PVD-applied TiN and TiAlN multilayer coating over a submicron carbide substrate, which supports higher cutting speeds and extended tool life in continuous and light interrupted cuts. The insert features an 80-degree diamond shape with a positive rake angle and a PF chip breaker. Corner radius measures 0.008 inches, and the inscribed circle is 0.25 inches. This insert is used by machinists and CNC turning specialists working in production and job shop environments.
