The ISCAR 5568602 is a TNMG 432-GN IC830 solid carbide turning insert from the Isoturn series, designed for external and internal turning operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. The insert features a triangular shape with a 60-degree included angle and a 0.0315 inch (0.80 mm) corner radius. The IC830 grade substrate is finished with an AlTiN and TiN PVD coating, providing wear resistance and thermal stability across a broad range of cutting conditions. Maximum depth of cut reaches 0.157 inch (4.00 mm). Licensed machinists and CNC turning specialists install this insert as part of standard toolholder setups in production and job-shop environments.
This insert is classified for universal primary workpiece materials under ISO material codes M, P, and S, covering stainless steels, carbon and alloy steels, and heat-resistant superalloys. The G chip breaker geometry is suited for general-purpose finishing and semi-finishing passes. The TNMG format fits standard TNMG-compatible toolholders used in a wide range of turning center configurations. It is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 10 units.
Designed for use in standard TNMG-compatible turning toolholders. Fits toolholder seats specified for the TNMG 432 insert size code within the Isoturn series product line.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before seating or indexing the insert. Use the manufacturer-specified torque wrench and clamping screw for the toolholder to avoid insert cracking or improper seating. Inspect the toolholder pocket for chips or debris before installing a new insert edge.
