The ISCAR 5510331 is a solid carbide turning insert in the CNMG 331-M3M geometry, designed for use on CNC lathes and turning centers in metalcutting operations. It carries an IC6025 manufacturer grade and is produced through a CVD coating process with a TiCN, Al2O3, and TiN multilayer finish. The 80-degree diamond insert shape (code C) provides a strong cutting edge suitable for general turning and facing applications. The M3M chip breaker geometry promotes controlled chip evacuation across a range of cutting conditions.
