The insert features a triple-layer CVD coating of TiCN, Al2O3, and TiN, which provides wear resistance, thermal barrier protection, and surface lubricity in a single tool. It carries a 60-degree triangular shape with a neutral 0-degree relief angle, a 0.0313-inch corner radius, and an inscribed circle of 0.375 inches. The M3M chip breaker geometry is optimized for controlled chip evacuation during medium to finishing passes. Insert length is 16.5 mm (0.6496 inches) and insert thickness is 0.1875 inches.

Installation Notes

Follow the toolholder manufacturer's clamping torque specification printed on the toolholder body or its documentation, as no torque value is published with this insert.
