The ISCAR 5509994 is a solid carbide turning insert with DNMG style geometry and IC806 manufacturer grade, designed for precision metal turning on CNC and manual lathes. It features a TiAlN coating applied via PVD process, which provides excellent heat resistance and wear performance in demanding cutting environments. The insert has a 55-degree diamond shape, a 1/2-inch inscribed circle, and a 1/32-inch corner radius. With a positive rake geometry and TF chip breaker design, it promotes controlled chip flow and reduced cutting forces.
