The ISCAR 5509180 is a replaceable drill tip designed for use with modular drill bodies in the ICM series. It features a 31/32 inch (0.9690 inch) cutting diameter and is ground from solid carbide using the IC908 submicron grade. A PVD-applied TiAlN coating reduces heat buildup and edge wear during aggressive cuts. The 140-degree drill point angle and web-thinned, T-Land geometry promote clean entry and reduced thrust in tough materials. Licensed machinists and tooling technicians working in precision metalworking or aerospace environments are the primary installers of this tip.

This drill tip is engineered for primary use in stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium (ISO material codes M and S). Secondary workpiece suitability extends to steel, cast iron, and hard materials (ISO codes P, K, and H).
