The ISCAR 5508235 is a DNMG150608TF IC807 grade solid carbide turning insert designed for precision metal cutting on CNC lathes and turning centers. The insert carries a TiAlN coating applied via PVD process, delivering hardness and oxidation resistance suited for interrupted cuts and dry or semi-dry machining. The 55-degree diamond shape (DNMG style) provides two usable cutting edges. With a 0.5 inch inscribed circle, a 0.25 inch insert thickness, and a 1/32 inch corner radius, this insert suits medium to semi-finish turning passes. It is installed by licensed machinists and CNC operators in job shop and production environments.
