The ISCAR 5507805 is a CNMG 432-PP indexable turning insert in the Isoturn series, designed for external and internal turning operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Built from solid carbide with a CVD-applied multilayer coating of TiCN, Al2O3, and TiN, this insert is engineered for productive cutting in steel and stainless steel workpiece materials. The 80-degree diamond insert shape (Shape Code C) provides two usable cutting edges per insert. The insert measures 12.9 mm (0.508 inches) in length with a 0.5-inch inscribed circle and a 1/32-inch corner radius, and it uses a clamp and pin holding method in compatible toolholders.

The ISCAR 5507805 is suited for general turning, facing, and boring applications on both steel (ISO P) and stainless steel (ISO M) workpiece materials. The PP chip breaker geometry supports positive rake cutting action, which helps control chip formation and reduces cutting forces during moderate to roughing passes. Installation Notes
