The 0.717-inch cutting diameter and 140-degree drill point angle provide reliable entry geometry across a range of workpiece materials. A TiAlN coating applied via PVD process adds surface hardness and thermal resistance during extended drilling cycles. The web-thinned point reduces thrust force at drill entry. Installation requires no special tooling beyond proper torque on the twist-lock insert seat.
