The ISCAR 3601343 is a right-hand MWLN-style indexable boring bar designed for internal turning operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. With a minimum bore diameter of 1.18 inches and a maximum bore depth of 1.38 inches, this tool handles precision internal material removal in steel, cast iron, and similar workpiece materials. The 1-inch shank diameter and 12-inch overall length provide rigid support and reach. Through-coolant capability directs fluid directly to the cutting zone, extending insert life and improving chip evacuation in deep-bore applications. It is part of the Isoturn series and conforms to ISO 13399 tooling data standards.
This boring bar is suited for production and job-shop turning environments where consistent bore geometry is required. The MWLN holder style accepts WN.. 332 trigon-shaped inserts with a negative axial and negative radial rake geometry. The -5-degree lead angle and right-hand cutting direction make this bar appropriate for standard through and blind-bore applications on right-hand turning setups. Insert retention is achieved via pin and clamp, providing secure seating under interrupted cuts and high-feed conditions. The MSC/Manufacturer Number is A-MWLNR 16-3W.
Accepts WN.. 332 compatible trigon inserts. Designed for use in MWLN-style tooling systems on right-hand CNC turning setups. Cross-reference MSC/Manufacturer Number A-MWLNR 16-3W when sourcing replacement inserts or verifying toolholder compatibility.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the turret is de-energized before mounting or removing the boring bar. Verify shank clamping torque against your machine tool manufacturer's specifications and confirm insert seating and pin-and-clamp security before taking a first cut. Through-coolant lines should be purged and inspected for blockages prior to operation.
