The ISCAR 3401280 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal cutting applications. It features a 7/16-inch diameter with a 1-inch length of cut and a 4-flute, right-hand spiral configuration with a 38-degree helix angle. The variable index flute spacing reduces chatter and improves surface finish at higher feed rates. A TiAlCN coating extends tool life in ferrous and hardened material applications. The submicron carbide grade provides the edge toughness and wear resistance required for demanding cuts. This end mill is single-end and center-cutting, allowing plunge entry and full slot milling in one tool.

This end mill is suited for CNC machining centers and manual mills handling ferrous metals, stainless steel, hardened steels, and similar difficult-to-machine materials in production shop and toolroom environments.
