The ISCAR 2301242 is a double-end neutral indexable cutoff blade designed for grooving, parting, and turning operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Built to the DGFH blade style, it measures 26 mm (1.0236 inches) in blade height, 2.4 mm (0.0945 inches) in blade width, and 110 mm (4.3307 inches) in overall length. The self-grip insert-holding method locks DG.1 and DG.3 series inserts securely without fasteners, reducing setup time. The double-end configuration allows the blade to be flipped for extended service life. Conforms to ISO 13399 cutting tool data standards.
This blade is suited for precision metal-turning applications in production machining environments, including job shops and manufacturing facilities running repetitive parting and grooving cycles. It supports a maximum workpiece diameter of 1.54 inches and accepts inserts ranging from 3.00 mm (0.1181 inches) to 3.18 mm (0.1252 inches) in width. Typical applications include parting off bar stock, external grooving, and profile turning on steel, stainless steel, and other machinable alloys. It is part of the ISCAR Do-Grip and Heli-Grip series tooling system.

Installation is performed by qualified machinists or tooling technicians. The machine spindle must be fully stopped and the turret or tool post de-energized before changing or indexing blades. Confirm insert seating in the self-grip pocket before resuming cuts. Follow the machine manufacturer and applicable shop safety procedures when setting tool offsets and testing at reduced feed rates.
