The IRWIN 65601 is a blank, solid red vinyl flagging tape used to mark boundaries, hazards, utility lines, and work zones in the field. The roll measures 150 feet long and 1-3/16 inches wide, with a 2 mil vinyl thickness that holds up to outdoor conditions. The solid red color provides high-visibility contrast against soil, grass, and pavement. HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and other trade professionals use flagging tape to mark excavation areas, equipment placement zones, and underground utility paths before and during service work. No adhesive is involved — the tape ties or wraps around stakes, fencing, and vegetation.
This flagging tape suits both residential and commercial job sites. Common applications include marking dig areas before trenching for gas lines, refrigerant line sets, conduit runs, and water service laterals. It is also used by pool and irrigation contractors to flag sprinkler heads, valve boxes, and equipment pads. The blank legend makes it adaptable across trades without being specific to a single color-coding standard.
Designed as a general-purpose flagging tape suitable for use across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pool, and utility service trades on both residential and commercial job sites.
Flagging tape requires no tools for application — simply tear to length and tie or wrap around stakes, conduit, vegetation, or fencing. Follow all applicable OSHA and local code requirements when marking excavation zones or utility corridors. Remove tape promptly after work is complete to avoid confusion with active hazard markings. Store unused rolls away from prolonged direct sunlight to maintain color intensity.
