The IRWIN 25825357 is a 7 1/4-inch, 24-tooth carbide-tipped circular saw blade engineered for fast, straight crosscuts and rip cuts in dimensional lumber and framing materials. Heat and vent expansion slots are machined into the plate to reduce vibration during operation, which extends blade life and improves cut quality. Alternating Top Bevel (ATB) carbide teeth are ground thinner than standard profiles, reducing kerf drag for quicker cutting while retaining edge sharpness over extended use. A reinforced shoulder at the plate perimeter adds structural durability under load. At 0.047-inch kerf, the blade removes less material per pass, reducing strain on the saw motor. Maximum rated speed is 8300 RPM.
This blade is suited for residential and light commercial framing, decking, and sheathing applications. The 24-tooth count makes it a general-purpose framing blade, optimized for fast stock removal rather than fine finish work. It fits most 7 1/4-inch worm-drive and sidewinder circular saws used by carpenters, framing crews, and general contractors. The 5/8-inch arbor is standard for the class, and the included 13/16-inch diamond knockout accommodates saws with that arbor configuration. A non-stick coating on the plate helps resist pitch and resin buildup.
Fits circular saws with a 5/8-inch arbor or 13/16-inch diamond arbor accepting 7 1/4-inch blades with a maximum rated speed of 8300 RPM or lower.
Installation should be performed by a qualified carpenter or tradesperson with the saw unplugged or the battery pack removed before changing the blade. Confirm the saw arbor size matches the blade bore before mounting, and torque the arbor nut according to the saw manufacturer specifications. Blade guard and all safety devices must be reinstalled and verified functional before operation. Never exceed the maximum rated speed of 8300 RPM.
