The Irwin 24R is a 24-inch locking C-clamp that uses a Vise-Grip style locking mechanism and regular tips for general-purpose clamping. It has wide-opening jaws with a maximum opening of 10 inches and a throat depth of 15.5 inches, and is constructed from heat-treated nickel chrome plated alloy steel. Intended uses include welding, woodworking, metal fabrication, and assembly where hands-free holding and adjustable clamping pressure are required.
