Product Description

IPS 83598 is a Twist-Tite mechanical test plug designed to seal and test 8 inch DWV pipe. The plug uses high-impact ABS plates and a neoprene sealing gasket to form an airtight seal around pipe diameters 7.76 to 8.03 inches. It includes an oversized wingnut with wrench pad, a steel-plated screw and zinc nut for corrosion resistance, and is rated to 5 psig for air back pressure. Intended for end-of-pipe testing or temporary blocking, length is 8.4 in.
